Tammy-Anne Fortuin is a South African model and television presenter best known as the host of the kykNET lifestyle cooking show Roer!, since 2004.
Born in Paarl, Tammy-Anne matriculated at the end of 1999 from Paarl Girls High. In her matric year she was a member of the Paarl Junior Town Council and excelled in activities such as ballet and drama. She was determined to pursue a career in law and studied for a BCom degree in Management.
In her third year of studies her life changed dramatically. In 2002 she was crowned as Rapport Miss Cape Peninsula and later that year she was crowned as the First Runner-Up to Miss South Africa.
Immediately she drew the attention of some of the most prominent players in the modeling arena and her career as a model began to flourish.
To date, Tammy is one of a few models who have featured in both the Sports Illustrated Swim wear Edition and Cosmopolitan Lingerie Edition.
She appeared in the FHM 100 Sexiest List for two consecutive years, has booked international modeling contracts and can currently be seen as the face of Honey Jewelery South Africa and in campaigns for Woolworths.
She is a member of ACT Cape Town where she received training in TV presenting and simultaneously received training at City Varsity Multimedia School for drama and presenting.
Tammy-Anne was a presenter of the M-Net mgazine show All Access, from 2009-2011. She left the show after Season 6 to pursue a four-year course at the New York Film School.
