Huey Louw is a South African singer, drummer and actor best known for his television roles as Uncle Salie on the kid's show Takalane Sesame (1999-2002) and as Ivan in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan.
Other television shows he has acted in include Egoli, Suburban Bliss, Khululeka, Going Up, Tussen Duiwels, Isidingo, Molo Fish and Jozi Streets.
Huey was also a DJ on Kaya FM 95.9 from 1997-1999 and presented Business Buzz on SABC2 from 1998-1999.
In 2000 he formed the band Huey and Da Boyz, playing a variety of genres ranging from mainstream to contemporary jazz, afrofusion, rhythm and blues and pop music.
In 2009 he was a regular cast member of the SABC2 sitcom Konsternasie Oppie Stasie, playing the role of Sanjay Ramjee, a retired, wealthy tailor in his mid sixties.
In 2016 he had a guest role as a magistrate on the e.tv soapie Ashes to Ashes.
