Trudie Taljaard (1948 – 31 January, 2009) was a South African actress best known in the years before her death from cancer as Esther, Matrone Netta Nortje's long-lost sister, in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan. She was also known for a long-running series of commercials for a furniture store.
