Bio
David Julian Hirsh is a Canadian actor best known for his starring television roles as Josh Gould in Naked Josh (2004-2006), as Max in Lovebites (2007) and as Ray Stein in Hawthorne, from 2009-2011.
Hirsh was born in Montreal, Canada, and attended the University of Toronto, where he majored in criminology and English literature.
After graduation, he attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York, later performing in several Broadway productions.
Hirsh produced and starred in the documentary Camp Hollywood, which won a Gemini Award. The film tells the story of a decrepit Hollywood hotel full of artists, young and old, who moved to Los Angeles to live their dreams.
He was also seen in the film The Trotsky, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2009.
