Bio
Joanna Douglas is a Canadian actress best known for her starring role as Samantha MacIntosh (later Samantha Strange) on the television dramedy series Being Erica, from 2009-2011.
Douglas' film and TV credits include leading roles in the feature films The Four Horsemen, New Year and a cameo in St Roz as well as a leading role opposite Daryl Hannah in the Lifetime movie of the week, All The Good Ones Are Married.
She also had a supporting role in the Hallmark movie of the week Taking a Chance on Love and guest starring appearances on the TV series Flashpoint (CBS/CTV), Happy Town (FOX) and The Border (CBC).
As a graduate of the University of Toronto and Sheridan College's joint Theatre and Drama Studies program, she has enjoyed onstage roles such as Libby in Opening Night (Theatre Aquarius), starring as Jillian in Jillian Jiggs Tells Stories (Solar Stage), acting an array of characters in Thirteen Hands (Hart House Theatre), Marjorie Pinchwife in The Country Wife and Bianca in Woman Beware Woman (Theatre Erindale).
