Bio
Omari Hardwick is an American actor best known for his starring television roles as John "Sack" Hallon in Saved (2006) and as undercover cop Ty Curtis in Dark Blue, from 2009-2010.
His feature credits include supporting roles in Linewatch, Miracle at St. Anna, Gridiron Gang, The Guardian and Beauty Shop, as well as leading roles in Proof Positive and Within the Wall. Other film roles include Bolden, Next Day Air and Kick-Ass.
On television, Hardwick starred in TNT’s drama series Saved and was a series regular on Spike Lee’s Sucker Free City. His guest-starring roles include Crossing Jordan and Savannah.
Hardwick has had several leading roles on the stage, including All Good Soldiers in the West Wind for the Greenway Court Theatre/Actors Studio; Dessalines for Robi Theater Company; For Colored Boys, El Haji Malik and Paul Robeson for Unity Players; and Shelly Garret’s Beauty Shop.
Hardwick is a founding member of Plan B Inc. Theater Group and co-founder of Los Angeles Actor’s Lounge. He is nationally ranked in spoken-word poetry.
Hardwick played football for his home state’s University of Georgia and played in the NFL.
