John Henson is an American comedian, talk show host and actor best known as the longest-running host of the E! Entertainment series Talk Soup (1995-1999), and as the co-host of the game show Wipeout, since 2008.
Prior to his stint at Talk Soup, Henson spent eight years touring America as a stand-up comedian and made a number of television appearances.
During his four and a half years as host and executive producer at E! Entertainment Television, he received three Emmy nominations, four Cable Ace nominations, performed over 1,200 episodes and sold out the Chicago Theatre.
After his time at Talk Soup, Henson hosted several specials for E!, including The Best Commercials You've Never Seen, The Best Television You've Never Seen and The Television Show with John Henson, an original hour-long special he wrote, produced and hosted.
At Spike TV, he hosted the live GQ Awards pre-show and created his own hour long weekly series, The John Henson Project.
In 2007 he ended a three-year run on TV Guide Network as host, writer and executive producer of Watch This, the longest running series on the network.
He has co-hosted the ABC game show Wipeout since it began in 2008.
