Bio
Jen Su is an American television and radio presenter and singer/songwriter best known as the financial news anchor for The African Business Report on Sky News, from their Johannesburg affiliate network, Summit TV, broadcast worldwide.
She is also a presenter of The Hollywood Report with Gareth Cliff on 5FM and was a guest presenter on the all-female talk show No Reservations, which aired on SABC3 in 2010.
A serious classical pianist since the age of five, Jen's foray into the singing world happened by accident in the shower as a young girl in Taiwan; her aunt then entered her into a national singing contest (TTV's Wu Deng Jiang) in which Jen set a national record.
She was also first prize winner of the Mu Chuan Folk Singing Contest and first runner up of the Pioneer Asian Laser Karaoke championships which landed her a record contract with Rock Records in Taiwan.
She then released the album Lonely Struggles, which featured hits like Capture My Heart and Love Me, Give Me Your Heart. Jennifer then represented the Republic of China with China Television throughout Europe and the South Pacific.
She was a presenter for China Television's Good Morning China and Family Album, which was the top-rated morning show in Taiwan.
In Thailand, Jennifer has been a senior news anchor for Thai TV Channel 11 Newsline and presenter on Virgin Radio Thailand. She has also been a presenter on UBC The Buzz Entertainment News from Destination Thailand and a Bangkok correspondent for E! Wild On Thailand.
She released 3 albums, as the Starbucks Chosen Artist (Thailand), entitled Hats Off, Hat Full of Jazz, and Ballads from the Hat, named after her penchant for hats. The albums were produced by Grammy Entertainment's Senior Producer, Bruno Brugnano.
In Hong Kong, Su has been an anchor and reporter for Star News Asia, ..V. She is also a presenter on RTHK Radio 3.
In Johannesburg, where she is currently residing - Jennifer is an anchor on Summit TV and Sky News The African Business Report. She is also a radio presenter on 5FM, for The Hollywood Report with Jen Su.
Jennifer donates all proceeds from her album sales and concerts to various charities and foundations in Thailand.
She married businessman Del Levin on 21 May, 1995 at Temple Adath Israel in Merion, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where her father was an associate professor of surgical research.
