Louis van Niekerk was a South African actor and director who appeared in numerous stage plays, television series and feature films.
He was best known in latter years for his role as Festus in the kykNET soapie Getroud met Rugby: Die Sepie.
Louis died on 7 February, 2023, at the age of 87. His cause of death was not made public.
