Funeka Peppeta is a South African singer best known as one of the Top 14 finalists on the sixth season of the M-Net reality competition Idols, in 2010.
Funeka is originally from Port Elizabeth, but auditioned for Idols in Bloemfontein despite currently residing in Johannesburg.
Funeka has always been an achiever, having been voted Junior Mayor of Port Elizabeth in 2002 and completing her Matric as head girl of her school the following year.
She graduated from AFDA with a BA in Live Performance and immediately started her own company called Mood Mechanics, where she employs current drama students for corporate and public events.
