Bio
Zintle Mkwela is a South African medical orthotics and prosthetics technician and singer best known as one of the Top 14 finalists on the sixth season of the M-Net reality competition Idols, in 2010.
Zintle grew up in Kwa-Mashu with her aunt and cousins. Being able to positively change the lives of people with missing limbs through her work is one of the most rewarding experiences for Zintle.
She found out about Idols through one of the show's hosts, ProVerb, whom Zintle was Facebook friends with, as she's always been a fan of his work.
In her spare time, Zintle also writes poetry and partakes in live poetry readings in her home town.
