Palmer Williams Jr. is an American actor best known for his role as Floyd Jackson, Linda and Danny's uncle through his late brother's marriage to Hattie who is often jovial and sarcastic, on the television comedy series House of Payne and Love Thy Neighbor.
Palmer is a native of Camden, Alabama and a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee. He has a BS in Health / Hospital Administration, and a minor in Biology and Math. As an entrepreneur, he owns Williams Lawn Care Group, a landscaping company.
He has performed in a number of Tyler Perry's national touring productions: I Don't Want to Do Wrong, Madea's Big Happy Family, The Marriage Counselor and Laugh to Keep from Crying. His performance in the latter two segue his current role on Tyler Perry's television shows, Love Thy Neighbor and House of Payne as Floyd.
His vocal credits also include singing background for R&B sensations Keith Sweat, LSG, and Grammy award winner, Monica. Along with his vocal success, Palmer ventured into the theatre with his stage credit, A Good Man Is Hard to Find and the stage play he directed and co-wrote, Where Have All the Good Men Gone?.
Following that production, Palmer directed, wrote and starred in Can A Woman Make A Man Lose His Mind? and What A Man Wants, What A Woman Needs! He was featured on Robert Townsend's Play House 22 on the Black Family Channel.
Palmer is married and a father of four.
