Bio
Shazad Latif is a British actor best known for his starring role as techno whiz Tariq Masood in the television drama series Spooks, from 2009-2011.
His role on Spooks was his first professional television engagement after leaving Bristol Old Vic Drama School.
During his time at Bristol he studied and performed in many stage productions including King Lear playing Cornwall and Richard Sheridan's comedy School for Scandal as Joseph Surface.
Shazad's professional theatre credits include Ricky Roma in the David Mamet classic Glengarry Glen Ross at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival directed by comedy legend Roger Lloyd Pack to great acclaim and Mumbai Tales at the Blue Elephant theatre in London.
