Bio
Stacie Jones Upchurch (better known as Stacie J.) was a contestant on the second season of the reality television show The Apprentice (the US version).
She was the third person "fired" by Donald Trump, after she disturbed many of her teammates in their first task by repeatedly referring to a Magic 8-ball while awaiting the outcome of the task.
This was the first impression she made with her teammates and it eventually led to her termination. At the end of the third task, her teammates still remembered her "schizophrenic"-like episode, and brought it up in the boardroom.
Concerned about the issue, Trump ordered all team members back into the boardroom to discuss it. After hearing each woman confirm Jones Upchurch's behaviour, Trump decided to make her the third candidate fired from The Apprentice 2.
His reasoning was that he did not want someone causing the rest of the candidates upset or nervousness.
Stacie grew up in Colorado. She has a BA from Emory University and an MBA from Mercer University, both of which are located in Atlanta, Georgia.
She is a professional model with Ford Model Management based in New York City and Elite Model Management with offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, and Chicago.
She owns a successful Subway Sandwich Shop Franchise in Harlem, New York.
She had a major role in the 2005 made-for-TV movie The Scorned, in a cast made up exclusively of ex-reality TV stars. She also appeared in the associated reality show Kill Reality on the E! Entertainment network, which followed the progress and making of The Scorned.
