Drew Roy is an American actor best known for his starring role as Hal Mason in the science fiction television series Falling Skies, from 2011-2015.
An Alabama native, Roy was discovered at a party in Atlanta by a Los Angeles-based manager. He was planning to go to college in the fall but instead decided to move to Los Angeles and give acting a try. He moved out with five of his best friends that were all in a band together.
Roy appeared in mostly independent film projects from 2006 to 2008, although he scored an uncredited recurring role in Greek in 2007.
In 2009, he landed a role on the television series iCarly. He also starred in episodes of Hannah Montana as Jesse, Miley's love interest, and Lincoln Heights.
In 2010, he landed his first motion picture role portraying thoroughbred horse farm owner Seth Hancock in the film Secretariat.
Roy currently resides in Los Angeles.
