Bio
Peter Shinkoda is a Canadian actor best known for his starring role as Dai in the science fiction television series Falling Skies, from 2011-2012.
In addition to his work on Falling Skies, Shinkoda stars in the Warner Bros. produced live-action web series Mortal Kombat. Shot in Vancouver under director Kevin Tancharoen (Mortal Kombat: Rebirth), the series delves deep into the history of the warriors in this world-renowned franchise.
Shinkoda, from Montreal, also stars in the 3D horror feature The Hole, directed by Joe Dante. The film revolves around a pair of brothers who stumble upon a mysterious hole in their basement that leads to the darkest corridors of their fears and nightmares.
Shinkoda's vast television credits include Showtime's The L Word, ABC's Kingdom Hospital, Warner Bros. Television's Supernatural, Syfy's Sanctuary and James Cameron's Dark Angel.
For the big screen, Shinkoda worked alongside Jet Li and Jason Statham in the action feature War. His other film credits include the sci-fi mystery I, Robot, starring Will Smith; and John Woo's Paycheck, with Ben Affleck, Aaron Eckhart and Uma Thurman.
