Bio
Richard Madden is a Scottish actor best known for his starring role as Robb Stark, the eldest son of Eddard and Catelyn Stark and the heir to Winterfell, in the medieval-fantasy television series Game of Thrones, from 2011-2013.
He also had a starring role as Bill Haskell, an explorer who sets out to carve a place for himself in the booming times of the Klondike Gold Rush, in the period drama miniseries Klondike.
Madden grew up in Elderslie, Scotland, and graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. While at the Academy, Madden was cast as Romeo in a Globe Theater production of Romeo and Juliet that ran through the summer of 2007. He later gained starring roles in the BBC series Hope Springs and films Chatroom and Worried About the Boy.
He also portrays Prince Charming in the live action Disney film Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh.
