Tom Wren is an Australian actor best known for his starring role as Doug Graham in the television drama series Winners & Losers, since 2011.
Wren made the decision to become an actor whilst studing overseas in Montreal. He was in the final year of a commerce/arts degree when it hit him.
After graduating from Melbourne University in 2003, he enrolled at the Victorian College of the Arts majoring in drama. During his time at VCA Tom performed in shows such as Anna Karenina, Pericles and Saved.
Following his graduation, more theatre roles followed. He completed a tour with the Bell Shakespeare Company playing Cassio in Othello followed by The Little Dog Laughed, Lovers & Haters, A Man for All Seasons, and performed with the award winning Melbourne group The Hayloft Project.
He's appeared in guest roles on TV shows such as Bed of Roses, Saddle Club, City Homicide and Rush. Winners & Losers was his first major television role.
An admirer of the talents of Joel Edgerton, Heath Ledger, Alan Rickman and Ralph Fiennes, Tom says his decision to become an actor would surprise his high school friends.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys swimming, keeping active and hanging out with friends.
