Bio
Windell D. Middlebrooks is an American actor best known for his starring role as Dr. Curtis Brumfield in the medical drama television series Body of Proof, from 2011-2013.
Body of Proof marked Middlebrooks' first role as a series regular, but he was already known in the USA for portraying the genial and beloved Miller High Life Delivery Man in their national advertisements.
Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, Middlebrooks embodies the spirit of the hardworking Everyman - his inspirations for this role are his grandfather and his uncles, lifelong role models.
Middlebrooks knew early on that his interest lay in the arts, and performed in plays whenever he had the opportunity. He earned his bachelor's from Sterling College in Kansas, where he received a scholarship for Best Incoming Talent.
Placing much value on higher education, the young actor then pursued his master's in acting from the University of California/Irvine and earned a prestigious Chancellor's Fellowship.
Within one year of graduation, he went to a last-minute audition for Miller's avuncular spokesperson. What began as a one-commercial gig turned into a five-year deal.
The classically trained actor concurrently focused on his acting career. Before Body of Proof, Middlebrooks had recurring roles on a number of TV shows, including Scrubs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Disney Channel's Suite Life on Deck and Comedy Central's Weekends at the D.L.
The busy actor has also guest-starred on such series as Entourage and Parks and Recreation.
