Dr. Werner Barkhuizen is a South African entrepreneur and psychologist best known for being a judge on the SABC2 reality competition television series The Big Break Legacy, in 2012.
Barkhuizen has consulted in a multiplicity of organisational environments and has extensive experience in transforming and leveraging people potential.
Having consulted to global corporations, Werner developed an appreciation of the dynamic forces that drive and accomplish organisational strategy and ultimately creates organisational capability and shareholder value.
Werner has presented his research findings at several international conferences. His career gained momentum at Arthur Andersen whereafter he moved into FMCG and ultimately entrepreneurship, in the form of business consulting.
Werner started his first business at the age of 10 and has served as director of several organisations. He has founded several businesses, with both failures and successes under his belt.
Early in his career Werner found a sense of satisfaction in entrepreneurship and with his "can-do" attitude he has combined his scientific knowledge with several unique and pragmatic applications into profitable client-centric solutions.
As an exchange student for entrepreneurship, Werner visited Russia and Ireland and lectured on entrepreneurship in Moscow.
Werner has many interests and hobbies amongst which flying helicopters, travel, and developing internet applications and solutions.
