Carole White is an English former model and co-founder of Premier Model Management whose model clients have included Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford.
Realizing that being in front of the camera was not for her, Carole decided to get behind it and joined Lucy Clayton as a booker in 1970, before being headhunted by the top London model agency, Bobton's.
Carole founded Premier in 1981 with her brother Chris Owen, initially representing 40 girls and running the agency from his kitchen table. The siblings were the pioneers behind supermodel branding and developed the first model fragrance and cosmetic lines for Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.
Carole has played a key role in building the careers of some of the modelling world's greatest names including Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Kristen McMenamy, Linda Evangelista, Nadja Auermann, Naomi Campbell and Tatjana Patiz; and more recently, Anna Jagodzinska, Hannah Holman, Julia Nobis, Karmen Pedaru, Katrin Thormann, Suvi Koponen and Tao Okamoto.
In 2011 she appeared in the Channel Four documentary series The Model Agency.
Carole is a voice of authority and experience in the fashion industry and is a campaigner against racial discrimination in fashion. She lives in London with her family and her dog Charlie.
