Bio
Kristin Booth is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Ethel Kennedy in the television mini-series The Kennedys, in 2011.
Booth's feature film credits include Toronto International Film Festival film selections Defendor, Young People F***ing (ACTRA Award nomination), and This Beautiful City; as well as the heist thriller Foolproof opposite Ryan Reynolds, On The Line, Detroit Rock City, Gossip, Cruel Intentions 2 and Kardia.
For her work in Young People F***ing, Kristin was nominated and won a 2009 Genie Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Kristin won her first Gemini Award in 2005 for her guest performance in an episode of ReGenesis entitled Spare Parts. She received her second Gemini Award nomination for her portrayal of Connie Lewis, in the new CBC series, MVP, which also aired on ABC.
Other television credits include: An American Wife, TNT's six part mini-series The Company, opposite Chris O'Donnell and Alessandro Nivola, Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story, Kaw, Burn: The Robert Wraight Story, The Salem Witch Trials, The Hunt For The Unicorn Killer, A Tale of Two Bunnies, Jewel, and Sleep Murder opposite Jason Priestley.
She has also had lead roles in the series The Newsroom, Daring and Grace and has guest-starred in various series including: Supernatural, 1-800 Missing, This Is Wonderland, Traders, Nikita, Puppets Who Kill and Show Me Yours among others.
Kristin also starred in the pilot My Best Friend's Girl for CBS.
On stage, Kristin appeared with the prestigious Soulpepper Theatre Company, garnering rave reviews for her portrayal of Olivia in Twelfth Night. She was welcomed back to the company to play the title role in Molnar's Olympia.
Kristin also appeared in a recurring role on The Border, guest-starred on Rookie Blue for Showcase, Flashpoint for CBS and CTV (third Gemini nomination), and The Listener for NBC and CTV.
She also appeared in two independent Canadian features, At Home By Myself...With You for which she was nominated for a 2010 ACTRA award and in Crackie and Thom Fitzgerald's feature film, Cloudburst.
Booth also voices the lead character in the animated series, Producing Parker.
She starred opposite Alyssa Milano in Lifetime's, Sundays At Tiffany's, based on the book by NYT best selling author, James Patterson.
