Alex Cord is an American actor best known for his role as Michael 'Archangel' Coldsmith Briggs III on the television series Airwolf, from 1984-1985.
Born in Floral Park, New York, Cord's first role of note was in the 1962 movie The Chapman Report directed by George Cukor.
Cord is also known to science fiction enthusiasts for having portrayed Dylan Hunt in the 1973 TV pilot Genesis II, which was created by Gene Roddenberry.
Other television shows he has appeared in include Laramie (his screen debut in 1961), Gunsmoke, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Hotel, Murder, She Wrote, Simon & Simon, Jake And The Fatman, Walker, Texas Ranger and High Tide.
His last screen appearance was in the 2001 direct-to-video movie Air Rage.
