Manoj Sood is a Kenyan-born Canadian actor best known for his starring role as Baber Siddiqui in the television sitcom Little Mosque on the Prairie, from 2007-2012.
Sood was born in Mombassa, Kenya and grew up in Western Canada. He entered the entertainment world in 1994 and has been working steadily as an actor since then.
Manoj has appeared in dozens of television and feature film productions. He has appeared on popular television shows such as Da Vinci's Inquest, The Dead Zone and Dead Like Me. Manoj has also acted in popular films such as American Meltdown, Rat Race and Watchmen.
He had a leading role in the feature film Fathers and Sons.
Manoj is the brother of actress Veena Sood.
