Mary Hanlon Stone is an American Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County best known as one of the interrogators in the short-lived reality competition television series Take the Money & Run, in 2011.
During her career as a prosecutor, she has handled thousands of cases covering everything from robbery, stalking, rape, child molestation, torture, mayhem, arson and murder.
For the majority of her career, Stone has specialised in the prosecution of sexual assault and domestic violence cases. She tried the first "Roofie" rape case in the nation and is a national consultant for drug-related sexual assaults.
She lectures on criminal investigations and trial strategies, including the art of interrogation.
Stone is a supervisor and mentor for younger Deputy District Attorneys. She attended The University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School.
She is the best-selling author of Invisible Girl, a teen novel, inspired by her work with troubled young girls.
Stone worked on the legal thriller, Breaking, and a parenting book, How to Tell When Your Teen Is Lying, with co-interrogator and best-selling author Detective Paul Bishop.
