John-Alan Slachta is a Canadian actor and model best known for his recurring role as wrestler Bobby Parelli in the teen sitcom Life with Boys, from 2011-2012.
Slachta was born in Ottawa, Canada, to Michelle and Alan Slachta. He has a younger sister, Jessica.
John-Alan started performing in musical theatre when he was eight, holding leads in Oliver!, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and as Ben Rogers in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer for Ottawa's Orpheus Musical Theater Society.
When he was 13 he signed with an agent and within four months landed the principal role of Bobby Parelli in Life with Boys, starring Torri Webster and Madison Pettis. He can also be seen in an episode of Really Me.
Besides acting, John-Alan's other passions are writing music and performing. He recorded his first CD "Time for Change" when he was just 10. He now performs regularly in a band called The Fairest where he is lead singer and plays rhythm guitar.
John-Alan also plays the cello and loves to ski.
