Tsholofelo Matshaba (previously credited by her maiden name Tsholofelo or Tsholo Monedi) is a South African actress best known for her role as devious gold-digger Meme on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango. She left the soap for a few months in 2012 but returned in late 2012.
She also stars as Tiny, the demanding, rebellious niece of Mmane (Lillian Dube), on the SABC2 sitcom Skwizas.
Tsholo attended the Tshwane University of Technology from 2002-2004, achieving a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. She went on to act in a number of theatre productions including Born in the RSA 2, Melodies of Love, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Lion King, Soweto Story, Aladdin and Robinson Crusoe.
Originally from the Mabopane township in Tshwane, Tsholo currently lives in Johannesburg. She married former radio presenter Chris Matshaba on Saturday 27 December, 2014. Her first credited role after marrying was in Skeem Saam in 2015, in which she was credited as Tsholofelo Matshaba.
In August 2015 she began starring as the lead character Keneilwe in the SABC2 family drama series Mamello, credited once again as Tsholofelo Matshaba. In the series she plays an idealistic teacher who relocates to a new school to escape an abusive marriage, where she falls in love with a fellow teacher and begins to rebuild the school as she rebuilds her own life.
In 2018 she had a starring role as Odirile, the queen's discontented younger sister, in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Throne.
