Taylor Armstrong is an American housewife and television personality best known for starring in the docu-reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, since 2010.
Taylor is a published author, with her memoirs becoming a New York Times bestseller. The mother of a daughter, Kennedy, Taylor continues to dedicate time to charity, and has flown around the country to give speeches to empower women.
She serves as Chief Creative Director of BeautyTicket.com and volunteers for the 1736 Family Crisis Center, being that she is an advocate for victims of domestic violence since 2004.
Taylor was born Shana Hughes, but has changed her name several times and has been also known as Shana Taylor and Taylor Ford. After allegations of spousal abuse and alleged money troubles, her husband Russell Armstrong took his own life and was found by Taylor and his landlord on August 15, 2011.
A month later, in September 2011, Taylor alleged that she suffered severe physical abuse during her marriage.
