Bio
Stephen McGann is an English actor best known to television audiences for his role as Sean Reynolds in the long-running drama series Emmerdale, from 1999-2002.
He also plays the role of Dr. Turner in the period drama television series Call the Midwife.
Stephen has worked extensively as an actor in TV, film and theatre since 1982. He also starred as Irish rebel Daniel Phelan in the award-winning BBC drama serial The Hanging Gale, which he originated and co-produced, and as Johann Strauss in the international mini-series The Strauss Dynasty.
His numerous other TV credits include Catherine the Great, Home Front, Streetwise and Help among others. He starred in the feature films Business as Usual, The Harpist and the award-winning short film Milk.
