Bio
Jacqueline Lord is an American singer/songwriter, actress and fashion model best known for her recurring role as Sienna in the television sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter, from 2011-2013.
Jacqueline got her first break at age 19 when she was discovered by modeling scouts who urged her to move to New York and pursue a career with IMG.
Though she had intended to explore music in college, she spent the next five years shooting advertising campaigns for major commercial brands such as Crest, AT&T, Royal Caribbean, and Priori Skincare.
Further, she also cultivated her acting career with roles in films such as Steven Seagal's cult favourite Mercenary For Justice and hit television shows like Hawaii Five-0, Two and a Half Men and Franklin & Bash.
While balancing her acting and modeling, she also continued to write music and put out her first EP in 2006. Her musical breakthrough came in 2008 when she wrote "Broken" for the soundtrack of the film Stiletto in which she also had a cameo appearance.
Soon thereafter, as Jacqueline was still searching for her true voice as an artist, she appeared as a favour to a friend in the music video for the track, "Lonely Girl" by London-based vocal trance group, OceanLab. It soon became clear that dance music would be in her future.
Jacqueline achieved public musical acceptance in 2012 by unleashing her debut dance single, "Killer." The track hit #3 on the MW Commercial Pop Chart's Top 30, topping Cher and Tyler Cruz, and #5 on the MW Upfront Club Chart Top 100 - the highest new entry, beating out Annie Lennox and Katy Perry.
The track was brought to the dance floor by top UK remix and DJ duo Soulshaker-the team who has contributed their talents to such chart-topping artists as Lindsay Lohan, Paul Harris and Crystal Waters.
