Michael Esper is an American musician and actor best known for his starring role as Dr. Kenneth Jordan in the short-lived television drama series Do No Harm, in 2013.
Esper made his Broadway debut opposite Frank Langella in the Roundabout Theatre Company's A Man for All Seasons. On Broadway, Esper originated the role of Will in the Tony Award-winning musical American Idiot.
He has appeared in the Tony-nominated production of Nicky Silver's The Lyons, as well as in Assistance, As You Like It, Big Bill, Crazy Mary, Manic Flight Reaction, The Four of Us and Suburbia.
Esper's film and television credits include the Brad Furman drama Runner, Runner, alongside Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake. Esper also appeared in All Good Things, A Beautiful Mind, Bittersweet Place, Bunker Hill, Law & Order, Loggerheads and Watching TV with the Red Chinese.
Esper won the Clarence Derwent Award from the Actors' Equity Association in 2008 and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor from The Irish Times for Long Day's Journey Into Night.
