Jen Kirkman is an American comedienne, writer and actress best known for appearing on Chelsea Handler's mockumentary-style comedy series After Lately and her talk show Chelsea Lately.
She's the author of I Can Barely Take Care of Myself: Tales of a Happy Life Without Kids and is a regular round table guest on Chelsea Lately. She also was one of the stars of the hit-spin-off mockumentary show After Lately.
Jen's stand-up album Hail to the Freaks (released March 2011) hit #13 on the Billboard Charts. Her debut album was 2006's Self Help.
Jen is also well known for her role as the narrator in the cult-hit series Drunk History - from Funny or Die/HBO which won the jury prize at Sundance Film Festival.
Jen has performed stand-up on Late Night with Craig Ferguson, Conan, John Oliver's New York Stand-up Show on Comedy Central and more.
Every month, Jen makes an appearance on Paul F. Tompkins' podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as the best comedy podcast of the moment.
Jen tours as a stand-up but is based in Los Angeles. She has also written for the NBC sitcom Perfect Couples and Disney's hit cartoon, Phineas and Ferb.
Jen was also a cast member of Vh1's sketch show - Acceptable TV. She played many characters on the Cartoon Network's Home Movies as well as Current TV's political cartoon Super News!.
