Bio
Casey J. Adler is an American actor best known for his recurring role as Carl Cramer on the dance-themed television drama series Bunheads.
Adler grew up in Bonita, California. He attended Tiffany Elementary School. Though acting was his dream from age 5, he did not act while living in San Diego. He received a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and played basketball.
At the age of 12, his family relocated to Palm Desert, California, where he began his first acting class in middle school. He was cast as the Prince in Cinderella. During this era in Palm Desert, he created a comedy team called Team Funny with his best friends and began writing/filming original sketches.
He received a B.F.A. in Theater Performance and a minor in World Religions from Chapman University. After graduating from Chapman, he created a theatre company with his mentor professor, Tamiko Washington, and two Chapman graduates, Andre Stojka, and Sean Burgos, entitled Actors Circle Ensemble (ACE).
They performed two one-act plays (The Indian Wants the Bronx by Israel Horovitz and Tom & Jerry by Jim Geoghan) at The Ivy Substation in Culver City.
