Bio
Tumi Voster is a South African television and radio personality best known as a presenter on a variety of youth shows and as a DJ for the youth radio station YFM.
Tumi was crowned Miss Personality at the age of 5 and later she was crowned Miss Tinkerbell at the age of 12. In 2005 she appeared as the main character in a Jet clothing TV commercial, which was her first TV appearance.
Tumi then realised her love for the small screen and pursued it by entering Quest4Fame, a nationwide presenter search competition on YOTV, where she made her mark as the winner in 2005. This is where her television presenting career began.
She has presented shows such as B.I.G. YO, Wildroom, Chillin, MC Chat Live Celebrity Interactive Show, Hlanya Bioscope and Ziyakhipha, among others.
She also had the opportunity to be involved in the Youth Company (Hot Dogz Incorporations), a youth marketing company giving the youth a platform to express their marketing skills for various brands.
In addition, Tumi has done MC work for a number of brands such as Sony Ericsson and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In 2011 Tumi took her entertainment career to greater heights as she was appointed as the content producer as well as the co-host for the week day show Prime Mode from 12-3pm, along side DJ Warras (YFM DJ and Club DJ) on one of South Africa's most popular youth radio stations, YFM.
She was featured in the Destiny Magazine November issue in 2011 where she was listed as one of the Destiny Mag Power of 40 Women; this feature compiles 40 women under the age of 40 who are successful in their fields.
She later landed a slot on YFM in 2012 and 2013, producing and co-hosting the evening show Undisputed from 18h00-21h00, alongside DJ Warras.
In 2013 she was selected as one of the new faces and hosts of the e.tv dance reality competition Step Up or Step Out 3 with co-host Slikour and judges Khabonina Qubeka, Emile Jansen and Euphonik.
In 2014 she co-presented the SABC3 reality competition and lifestyle show Win a Home.
