Elle McLemore is an American actress best known for her starring role as Holly Truman, Tim's high school sweetheart and newlywed wife who is a long way from her family's farm in Effingham, Illinois, in the television drama series Army Wives.
McLemore grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada in a show business family. At the age of 3, she made her start in the entertainment industry, performing in a magic touring show along with her family. Her father was a pyrotechnician and her mom a dancer/showgirl.
She returned to Las Vegas, going to school and performing in benefit productions alongside the Las Vegas casts of Phantom, Mamma Mia and Spamalot. She was homeschooled in her senior year, commuting to Los Angeles and guest starring in Disney's The Suite Life on Deck and ABC's The Middle.
A week after graduation, Elle moved to LA and starred in her first feature film At the Top of the Pyramid, a cheerleading based independent film co-starring Dean Cain and Steve Guttenberg.
Elle returned to her stage roots to star as the pint-sized All About Eve inspired villain, Eva, in the National Tour of Universal Pictures Stage Productions/Beacon Entertainment's Bring It On: The Musical. The show was composed of the Tony Award winning creative team of In the Heights, Avenue Q and Next to Normal.
The national tour premiered at the prestigious Center Theater Group's Ahmanson theatre in Los Angeles. It then continued on to 12 more cities, including San Francisco, Chicago, St. Louis, and Toronto.
Bring it On then went on to New York City, where Elle made her Broadway debut at the St. James Theatre.
