Thomas M. Wright is an Australian actor, writer, director and producer best known for his television roles as Johnno in the miniseries Top of the Lake and as Steven Linder, a "lone wolf" trying to survive in a near-lawless borderland, in the crime drama series The Bridge.
His performance in the Jane Campion miniseries Top of the Lake for the Sundance Channel earned him wide critical praise at the Sundance Film Festival and saw him nominated for best supporting actor at the 2013 Critics Choice awards.
On film, he featured as Thomas Bodenham in the film Van Diemen's Land (2008), as murdered journalist Brian Peters in Robert Connolly's Balibo (2008), in Matthew Saville's The King: The Story of Graham Kennedy (2007) and in Torn (2010), directed by Eric Manchester.
He is sometimes credited as Tom Wright.
