Daniel Thomas May is an American actor best known for his recurring role as Allen, part of Tyreese's group who proposes to take over the prison and later joins The Governor's army at Woodbury, in the third season of the television horror series The Walking Dead, from 2012-2013.
For 15 years May focused his work on stage, both in Atlanta and across the country, but in later years turned to the screen, with roles on The Vampire Diaries, Drop Dead Diva and a number of commercials and independent film projects.
Representative stage roles include The Devils (Portland Center Stage), The Taming of the Shrew (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire (Marin Theatre Company), title roles in Hamlet and Macbeth (Georgia Shakespeare), Bug and The Pillowman (Actor's Express), Tina Landau's production of In the Red and Brown Water (Alliance Theatre) and many more.
