Bio
Wilson Dunster is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Sid Keyser in the Paul C. Venter period drama series Konings (1992) and its sequel Torings (1994), for which he was nominated for an Artes Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He is also known for his television roles as Spider in the first few years of the M-Net soapie Egoli and as Pierre de Villiers, the first manager of the mine, in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.
Although primarily a theatre actor, Dunster has appeared in numerous other television series including Onder Engele, Two Weeks in Paradise, Yizo Yizo, Erfsondes and Onder Draai Die Duiwel Rond.
His feature film credits include Jock of the Bushveld, Brutal Glory, The Schoolmaster, There's a Zulu on My Stoep, Circles in a Forest, The Fourth Reich, Glory Glory, Red Dust and Hond se Dinges.
Dunster's numerous theatre credits include roles in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, Torch Song Trilogy, Orestes, Statements After an Arrest, The Glass Menagerie, People Are Living There, Marat Sade, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Dinner for One and Too and Die Hoe Se Wat Se Wie Nou Weer?.
He trained at the University of Cape Town and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
