Cameron Silver is an American fashion historian and entrepreneur who founded Decades, a vintage couture boutique in Los Angeles, California; best known for appearing on the docu-reality television series Dukes of Melrose.
Since Silver opened the doors of Decades in 1997, the dress code in Los Angeles has irrevocably changed. Creating looks from deep within the closest of the famous Decades, Cameron styles celebrities for major red-carpet appearances, including the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards.
Cameron's impact on runway trends is widely recognised and he has acted both as public ambassador for fashion houses and as secret weapon, consulting on everything from re-imagining a brand's identity to maneuvering its global launch.
Named one of Time Magazine's "25 Most Influential Names and Faces in Fashion" in 2002, Cameron has also written for publications including Harper's Bazaar, C Magazine and in 2012, his book DECADES: A Century of Fashion was published.
