Bio
Jenna Dunster is a South African actress best known for her recurring role as Sofia le Roux in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo, from 2009-2011.
After matriculating, Dunster spent two years in London, where she took an acting course at The Poor School. During her time there, she performed in Brian Friel's Lovers, Ibsen's A Doll's House, Sweet Bird of Youth by Tennessee Williams and Hayfever by Noel Coward.
After returning to South Africa in 2008 she has played Terry De Klerk in 7de Laan, Sofia le Roux in Isidingo, Karla in Getroud Met Rugby and Abby in the BBC miniseries Sisters In Love. She also appeared in kykNET's Binneland as Hestie Erasmus.
Jenna played Katrien Joubert in Abnormal Loads written by Neil Coppen (Standard Bank Young Artist Award Winner for Drama 2011) at the 2011 Grahamstown festival, The 2011 Hilton Festival, and in 2012 both The Playhouse Theatre in Durban and The Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
Little Foot, written by Craig Higginson and Directed by Malcolm Purkey went to the 2012 Grahamstown Festival and then went on to a 5 week run at The Market Theatre in Johannesburg. Jenna played the role of dark the devious Coco.
In 2013 she was a featured guest on the SABC2 travel programme Mooiloop! and starred in an episode of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions as cake-loving, man-loving patisserie chef Mandy in Episode 11 of the series. She also had a starring role in the kykNET period drama series Donkerland.
Jenna is the daughter of actors Wilson Dunster and Elize Cawood.
