Jacqui Carpede is a South African singer and actress best known as a member of the girl band Jamali, who were the runners-up in the third season of the reality competition television series Popstars, in 2004.
She has since launched a solo music career and has performed in a number of stage musical productions including The Wiz, Extreme, A New Day, Fever, Femme Fatale and Razzle Dazzle.
She has also had guest starring roles in the television series Binnelanders and City Ses'la, as well as a starring role in the kykNET period drama series Donkerland.
