Cynthia Kaye McWilliams is a German-born American actress best known for her role as entertainment lawyer to the stars Trina Shaw in the reality spoof television comedy series Real Husbands of Hollywood.
McWilliams was born in Berlin, Germany and raised primarily in Kansas City, Kansas. She then attended and graduated from the prestigious Theater School of DePaul University in Chicago and after a bit of bouncing around, ultimately has made her home in Los Angeles, California.
She has appeared on the big screen in Warner Brothers' The Lake House, Robert Townsend's independent film Of Boys and Men and One Small Hitch.
On the small screen Cynthia first appeared in a recurring role on Prison Break (as C-Note's wife) then a lead role in Family Practice; a pilot created by the producers of Lost for Sony/Lifetime television.
Cynthia then appeared on the FOX series Chicago Code and held her own as sitcom wife to Damon Wayans in an unaired CBS pilot.
She also appeared on CW's Hart of Dixie before becoming a series regular on The Real Husbands of Hollywood as Trina Shaw.
Her stage credits the lead role in First Breeze of Summer at The Court Theater (Chicago, Illinois), Lady Capulet in an adaptation of the classic Romeo and Juliet and Vivian Baptiste in A Lesson Before Dying.
Cynthia also has a vibrant voiceover career with her voice featured in national commercials, video games and animation.
