John Gemberling is an American comedian and actor best known for creating and starring in the live action comedy series Fat Guy Stuck in Internet, which follows computer programmer Ken Gemberling – the titular Fat Guy – who is accidentally sucked into his computer and learns he is destined to save cyberspace from a variety of evils.
He also stars as Gil – Jake's mopey, divorced best friend who sells hair loss products - in the short-lived sitcom Marry Me.
In addition to his work on Marry Me, Gemberling had a recurring role on Comedy Central's Broad City and The Heart She Holler.
His many additional television credits include Super Fun Night, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 and Happy Endings, as well as Kroll Show, Childrens Hospital, Delocated, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Key and Peele and the series finale of The Office.
His feature credits include Todd Solondz's Palindromes, Dan Eckman's Worst.Prom.Ever. and Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, in which he appeared alongside Ed Helms, Paul Scheer and Rob Corddry.
Gemberling has written for Comedy Central's The Man Show, MTV's Human Giant, Fox's Animation Studio and the Onion.
