Bio
Sean-Marco Vorster is a South African actor, writer and director best known for his starring role as Jaco du Toit, the resident surfer amongst a group of student friends living in Muizenberg, in the SABC1 youth drama series Amaza.
Two weeks after writing his school finals at Paarl Boys' High, Sean-Marco walked onto his first feature film as a supporting character, Dietmar, on the first Afrikaans horror film, Lyfstraf.
After shooting he went on to study acting at AFDA, The South-African School of Motion Picture and Live Performance. After two years of Acting for Film, he decided to major in Directing and Script Writing, to further broaden his education in the film medium.
After making several appearances in AFDA short films, showcasing the wide variety of characters he could portray, he landed the role of young Russouw in Etienne Fourie's fourth year film, called Die Windpomp. After much success the film was picked up by Zen HQ films, and the feature film production started.
After directing his graduation film at AFDA, Sean-Marco walked back onto his second feature film, Die Windpomp, where he would now play the antagonist of the story.
In 2014 he was a co-presenter of the SABC3 Afrikaans-language lifestyle and magazine programme NAweek.
