Bio
Sandile Kamle is a South African actor, director and opera singer best known for his starring role as Detective Captain Thando Sifile in the eKasi+ and e.tv detective drama series Traffic!.
Having matriculated from ID Mkhize High School in Gugulethu, Cape Town in 1994, Sandile attended the UCT College of Music from where he graduated with a Performers Diploma in Opera in 1999.
He has since performed in various musical productions and operas over the years including La Boheme, Madame Butterfly and Porgy and Bess (for the Cape Town Opera); Westside Story, Beggars Opera, Mysteries and Carmen (for the DDK Theatre); Lieberstrank and Orfeo et Euridice (for the Nuremberg State Theatre, Germany) and many more.
His screen acting debut was in the telefilm Anner House (2007) and he later appeared in Crazy Race 4, the controversial SABC1 miniseries uMthunzi weNtaba, the action series Strike Back, From Village to City and the Nollywood film The Profiteers.
He currently resides in Cape Town.
