Leeanna Walsman is an Australian actress best known for her role as Zam Wesell in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002), for playing Carly Bishop in the Australian film Looking for Alibrandi (2000) and for her starring role in the mini-series Jessica.
She also has a starring role as Erica Davidson, a lawyer from a long line of well-bred lawyers who sees corrections as a fast track to a bigger, brighter future, in the television drama series Wentworth.
Sydney-born actress Walsman has been performing in theatre, film and television since a teenager. Her film credits include Caught Inside, $9.99 and George Lucas's Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
She received her first Australian Film Institute nomination for her lead role in One Perfect Day which was followed up with a second AFI nomination for Best Supporting Actress, as well as an IF Award nomination for her acclaimed performance in Bitter and Twisted in 2008.
Leeanna's numerous television credits include Underbelly: Badness, The Pacific, The Starter Wife, The Informant, All Saints, Hercules, Jessica, Fascape, Wildside and Love Is A Four-letter Word, to name a few.
She has been prolific on stage with her role in Speaking In Tongues for the State Theatre Company of South Australia, as well as over a dozen roles in Sydney Theatre Company productions including Stockholm, Saturn's Return, The Shape of Things, Old Masters and The Recruit directed by Robyn Nevin.
She was in the Bell Shakespeare Company's Othello and A Streetcar Named Desire for the Queensland Theatre Company.
Leeanna lives in Sydney.
