Bio
Tebogo Khalo is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Puleng Mofokeng, a young woman who had to deal with the trauma of an abusive older boyfriend, in the e.tv soap opera Rhythm City.
Her role on Rhythm City was her screen acting debut and won her the Golden Horn award for Best Supporting Actress in a Soap Opera at the 2011 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).
Tebogo started her acting career working in educational theatre, promoting reading in schools. She also has experience in radio having co-hosted a current affairs show that was aimed at the youth.
She has assisted organisations with career days for the youth and motivational speaking in schools and has dedicated her time to a cancer foundation "Just Foot Prints", that organises camps for disadvantaged children suffering from cancer.
Khalo was born in Alexandra and grew up in Kempton Park.
