Jo-anne Reyneke is a South African actress best known for her television soap opera roles including bubbly receptionist Pearl on SABC2's Muvhango and Prudence Oliphant, the uptight office manager for Redemption Records, in e.tv's Rhythm City.
Pietermaritzbug-born Reyneke's interest in the performing arts started in her youth and she took up drama in high school, later continuing with the trade in college.
In 2013, in between her roles on Muvhango and Rhythm City, she appeared in two episodes of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, playing a character called Layla.
From 2015 to 2017 she had a starring role as Busi Duma on the SABC3 drama-turned-telenovela-turned-soapie High Rollers, for Seasons 2 and 3.
Between April 2017 and April 2018 she starred on the e.tv telenovela Broken Vows, where she played Thandi, the adopted daughter of the Moswane family and senior wedding planner at the family's business Yours Truly Concepts.
Later in 2018 she starred as Sli on the SABC1 miniseries Side Dish and in October of the same year she joined SABC3 soapie Isidingo in the role of vivacious and formidable Lungi Biyela.
She left Isidingo in June 2019 and returned in November of the same year, shortly before the show was cancelled by the channel.
In 2020 she starred as central character Thuli Dlamini in BET's sitcom Black Tax and also has a role as Angelina Duma on the channel's first telenovela Isono: The Sin.
In August 2020 she debuts on SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy as Refilwe Zungu, the charming, ambitious and smart stepdaughter of Walter Nkaba, played by Nimrod Nkosi.
