Jason Momoa is an American actor best known for his roles as Jason Ioane on Baywatch, as Ronon Dex on Stargate Atlantis and as Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Norwalk, Iowa, Momoa is an actor, artist and writer who was cast in his television debut as a series regular on the syndicated show Baywatch: Hawaii.
It was during that time that he met his partner, Simmone Mackinnon, who co-starred with him on the series. In 2003 they relocated to her native Australia, a move that inspired Momoa to pursue and develop his interests as an artist. He has since had two art shows; one in Hawaii and one in Australia.
Momoa made his feature film debut in the 20th Century Fox film Johnson Family Vacation.
Most recently, Jason was a series regular in the 20th Century Fox series North Shore as Frankie Seau. Other credits include the Fox television special Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding and the telefilm Tempted.
He currently splits his time between Los Angeles, Vancouver and Australia.
