Ava Deluca-Verley is an American actress best known for her starring role as Katie Fisher, a teenager who has to deal with her mother's own burgeoning adolescence by offering advice and clothing in equal measure, in the television sitcom Growing Up Fisher.
Deluca-Verley appeared in Oscar-winning screenwriters Jim Rash and Nat Faxon's directorial debut, The Way Way Back, starring Steve Carell, Toni Collette and Sam Rockwell. She also guest starred on TNT's Southland and played a supporting role in the Australian feature film Blinder.
In 2014, she starred alongside Hugo Becker in the PBS three-hour miniseries The Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements, helmed by Emmy Award-winning director Stephen Lyons.
Deluca-Verley is a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Born in Boston, she has dual citizenship in France and the U.S. and speaks French fluently.
